Latest Motability Scheme update [COVID-19]
As our showroom is now temporarily closed we are unable to accept any new orders, manage handovers or car returns.
In addition, Motability are unable to accept any new orders, they have also not updated the prices for the Motability Scheme that would normally become available on 1 April 2020.
Just as soon as we safely can we will re-open for new applications as well as arranging vehicle handovers.
We look forward to welcoming you to collect your new Volvo vehicle when the scheme gets back up and running.
For those customers approaching the end of their lease, Motability will automatically extend the lease for six months.
There is no need to contact Motability, or Riverside Volvo, as this will be done automatically; and you will of course continue to be insured.
If you were planning to leave the Scheme at the end of your lease, please contact Motability to discuss arrangements.

Founded in 1977, the Motability Scheme is a national charity helping disabled people, their families and carers become mobile. The Scheme provides an affordable way for people with disabilities to lease a car in exchange for their mobility allowance.
With Motability Contract Hire you get more than just the car of your choice - you’ll enjoy all the freedom that comes with a truly worry-free lease. The Scheme will arrange the insurance, breakdown assistance, servicing and maintenance with Riverside Volvo and everything’s already included in the price that you pay. So Motability & Riverside take care of everything, you just add fuel and go! It’s as simple as that.
Who can join?
To be eligible to join the Motability Scheme, you need to receive one of the following mobility allowances and you must have at least 12 months’ award length remaining. Please note that the Attendance Allowance cannot be used to lease a car through the Scheme.
