You will be responsible for carrying out advanced diagnostics, repairs, and routine servicing across a range of vehicles, including modern electric and hybrid models.

Essentials (You Must Have)

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a similar workshop environment.
  • Strong fault-finding abilities and experience carrying out complex repairs.
  • A customer-focused approach and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
  • Full valid driving licence

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out advanced vehicle diagnostics, repairs, servicing, and software-based fault finding in line with manufacturer and factory standards.
  • Complete thorough vehicle inspections, accurately identifying faults and recommending additional work.
  • Clearly communicate technical issues and repair requirements to customers in a professional and approachable manner.
  • Ensure all work complies with company policies, manufacturer specifications, and industry regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workshop environment in accordance with health and safety standards, including safe working practices around modern vehicle systems.
  • Oversee servicing, repairs, and parts replacement, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and customer satisfaction is achieved.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Level 3 IMI qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance or an equivalent qualification.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective communication will be essential, particularly when liaising with Service Advisors and customers to explain work required
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to support a team of technicians.
  • An interest in modern vehicle technologies, including electric and hybrid systems.
  • Experience working with electric or hybrid vehicles would be advantageous.
