Sales Manager - Volvo - Hull

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join our team!

You will play a key role in supporting performance and profitability whilst ensuring that our sales team consistently delivers an outstanding customer experience.

Essentials (You Must Have):

  • Previous experience in a Sales Manager or Sales Controller (automotive industry experience is advantageous)
  • Commercially focused with a proven track record of delivering results
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team
  • Full and valid UK driving licence

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Business Manager to drive sales performance, profitability, and overall dealership success
  • Lead, coach, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed targets
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and campaigns to increase revenue and market share
  • Coach and develop team members through regular one-to-ones, training, and performance reviews
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments (finance, service, and marketing) to enhance the customer experience and drive business performance
  • Maintain optimal stock levels and manage vehicle inventory effectively to maximise sales opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and manufacturer partners
  • Analyse sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions
