As of October 2023, there are more than 30,300 UK-wide public charging locations which consist of 79,500-plus individual connectors. Wherever you drive in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland or Wales, there’ll almost certainly be a public chargepoint near you.

At home, you have two charging options:

              • Connect your EV or PHEV to a domestic three-pin (3 kW rated) power source
              • Use a specially installed home chargepoint to enjoy fast-charging (7 kW) speeds

Provided you have the permission of your employer, you can charge your vehicle via a three-pin workplace socket. Many forward-thinking businesses have fast-charging wall boxes available for employee use.
