Used Vehicle Preparation Technician - Doncaster - Motor Trade

About the Role
We are looking for a Used Vehicle Preparation Technician to join our site in Doncaster. You will carry out servicing, repairs, and preparation of used vehicles across a wide range of makes and models, ensuring they meet high safety and retail standards.

Essentials (You Must Have)

• Level 2 IMI qualification (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance
• Experience working across multiple vehicle manufacturers
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills
• Full and valid UK driving licence
• Flexible
• Team-oriented approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose faults and complete mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic repairs.
• Prepare vehicles to meet safety, MOT, and retail standards.
• Work efficiently to deadlines while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Complete all job cards and workshop documentation correctly.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

About You

• Experienced in working with multiple vehicle brands, ideally from an independent garage background.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work efficiently without compromising on quality.
• Professional, reliable, and team-focused.
