Renewals Specialist

Riverside Motor Group has been and continues to go through a period of controlled growth, so we are now looking for a Renewals Specialist for our Volvo dealership in Wakefield. This role is Monday to Friday with weekend availability necessary.

As a Renewals Specialist, you’ll play a key part within our award-winning Riverside Wakefield branch working with a premium brand which has never been more popular. You’ll be set up and supported with the resources, tools you need to be at your best. Hard work and commitment go a long way here. If you have the attitude and drive, the doors are open.

At Riverside, our Renewals Specialist are responsible for maximising our renewals and enhancing customer retention. Utilising key software and Riversides dealer management system, for this role it is split 50/50 with 50% of the time contacting customers over the phone, making appointments and then 50% dealing with customers in the showroom. You will need to be confident and dynamic over the phone and possess great customer facing skills when you meet them in the showroom.

You’ll have the opportunity to be involved with:

  • Champion the point of sale being the point of resale by integrating this concept into the sales process, ensuring smooth transition for initial purchase to renewal
  • Uncover renewal opportunities by leveraging our software tools to identify end-of-term and early renewal prospects
  • Strategize appointment-setting, ensuring every opportunity is maximised
  • Actively contact identified prospects, inviting them to the dealership showroom where you will give them a personalised renewal proposition experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of all renewal activities including the number of prospects identified, contacted, appointed and successfully renewed
  • Continuously enhance your understanding of manufacturer developments to provide customers with informed- up-to-date advice

Do you have what it takes to be a Renewal Specialist? We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Confident and experience of contacting customers initially by phone. Call centre backgrounds with a selling background would be advantageous.
  • The ability to ensure the customer has a VIP welcome in the showroom and could quickly build report and assess the customer’s needs.
  • A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills who can engage, build authentic relationships and establish strong rapport with our customers
  • Maintain accurate records of all renewal activities including the number of prospects identified, contacted, appointed and successfully renewed
  • Able to adhere to all company and manufacturer policies and protocols
  • Passionate for our industry and the customers we look after

Pay: OTE £50K
