We are now recruiting for a Pre-Delivery Inspection Technician to join out PDI/Fleet team in Doncaster. This role is responsible for preparation of new vehicles to manufacturer and company standards, ensuring every car is delivered to the customer in perfect condition.

The Role – What You’ll Be Doing

As a PDI Technician, you’ll carry out thorough Pre-Delivery Inspections on new vehicles, ensuring they are road-ready and meet group, manufacturer and customer expectations. You will take pride in guaranteeing vehicles are in perfect condition while supporting the workshop team in maintaining high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Complete pre-delivery inspections on new vehicles in line with manufacturer checklists

- Carry out minor mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic rectifications as required

- Conduct safety checks including fluid levels, tyre pressures, lights, and brakes

- Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer standards, health and safety regulations, and workshop quality benchmarks

- Accurately complete all required paperwork and inspection records

- Work efficiently to support timely vehicle handovers to customers

- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

About You

To thrive as a PDI Technician, you’ll be detail-focused, methodical, and take pride in preparing vehicles to the highest standards.

- Level 2 NVQ, or equivalent, in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

- Previous experience in the Automotive sector within a technical role

- Fantastic communication skills and a can-do attitude in a challenging yet rewarding environment

- Good communication and teamworking skills

- Hold a full UK driving licence

Desirable but not essential:

- EV/Hybrid awareness or training
