MOT Tester – Motor Trade (Doncaster)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled MOT Tester to join our team in Doncaster. In this role, you will carry out MOT tests on both customer vehicles and preparation cars, ensuring all work meets the highest regulatory and safety standards.

Essentials (You Must Have)

• MOT Tester qualification
• Full, valid UK driving licence
• Proven experience working as an MOT Tester in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct MOT tests in line with DVSA guidelines
• Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections, identifying faults and advising on required work
• Clearly explain technical issues and repair needs to customers in a friendly, professional manner
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company policies, manufacturer standards, and industry regulations
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised workshop environment
• Support with servicing, repairs, and parts replacement, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
• Support the workshop with light maintenance tasks, including PDI inspections, routine servicing, and vehicle health checks.

About You

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

• A Level 3 IMI qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance or an equivalent credential
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical details clearly
