At Riverside Motors, we’re proud of our award-winning team and reputation for excellence in customer service. We’re now looking for a Fleet End User Delivery Driver to join us, helping us deliver the latest vehicles — including BEVs and PHEVs — to our valued corporate customers across the UK.
This is more than just driving: you’ll be the face of Riverside Motors, carrying out professional handovers, ensuring customers are confident with their new vehicles, and delivering a seamless experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver vehicles to corporate and fleet customers in a timely, safe, and professional manner.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections at collection and delivery, completing accurate documentation.
- Carry out engaging vehicle handovers, explaining advanced technology and key features of BEV/PHEV models.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring every interaction reflects Riverside’s high standards.
- Assist with loading/unloading vehicles and support the wider fleet operations team when needed.
- Ensure compliance with traffic laws, road safety, and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to continuously improve delivery efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Desired Qualities
- Genuine interest in the latest vehicles, especially electric and hybrid models.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills — keeping customers informed is key.
- Good understanding of in-car technology and confident using modern mobile apps.
- Familiarity with the UK public transport system (for returning after drop-offs).
- Flexible availability — ideally at least 3 days per week.
Essential Requirements
- Over 25 years old (for insurance purposes).
- Valid UK driving licence held for 2+ years (EU licences not accepted).
- No more than 6 penalty points.
- No major motoring convictions (e.g., DR10, TT99).
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, chauffeur, or in a customer-facing driving role.
- Strong knowledge of UK roads and traffic regulations.
- Physically fit with the ability to handle occasional lifting.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
