You have a choice of when you can take out your extended guarantee, either: when the 3-year or 90,000-mile manufacturer's warranty expires or if you have bought a Honda Approved Used Car and your 12-month guarantee has expired.

FAQs

Is there a choice of guarantees?

You have the choice of 12,24 and 36 months' cover (subject to vehicle eligibility). The longer the cover the more saving you will receive.

Who carries out the repairs?

Any authorised Honda Dealer can carry out the repair work for you under the Honda Guarantee and all work will be carried out by the people who know your car best- Honda Trained Technicians using Honda Genuine Parts.

What happens if my car is off the road?

The Honda Extended Guarantee is designed to keep you on the road. If your vehicle is undergoing an authorised repair for more than 8 hours, you can claim up to 5 days' car hire to a maximum of £40 per day (including VAT) after the first 24 hours.

What happens if I am away from home?

If you break down away from home and your vehicle is undergoing an authorised repair for more than 24 hours, your Honda Extended Guarantee can minimise any inconvenience by allowing you to claim for one night's hotel accommodation up to £150 (including VAT).

What happens if I break down in Europe?

Your Honda Extended Guarantee can cover your repair bills in most European countries: you pay for the repair and reclaim the cost when you return to the UK.*

What happens if I sell my vehicle?

If your vehicle is sold privately, the Honda Extended Guarantee can be transferred so the new owner can enjoy the same benefits for a fee of just £15.

How do I maintain my Honda Extended Guarantee?

Just keep your vehicle serviced, by an authorised Honda dealer, in line with the manufacturer's recommended service schedule.
