Motability offers an affordable, hassle-free way for people with mobility issues to lease a new car, and it’s packed with features, including vehicle adaptations, insurance, servicing and RAC Motability Assist.

How do I know if I am eligible for Motability?

If you’re in receipt of one of the following mobility allowance, and it’s valid for at least 12 months, you’ll be eligible for the Motability Scheme:

Enhanced rate mobility part of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
Higher rate mobility part of Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)

Can I buy my Motability vehicle at the end of my lease?

Can family members drive my Motability car?

Yes. This is because Motability allows up to three drivers to be named on your insurance policy, enabling family members and carers to drive on your behalf.
