What is Motability?

The Motability Scheme is a UK initiative that helps people with disabilities lease a brand-new vehicle in exchange for their qualifying mobility allowance. It includes insurance, maintenance, servicing, and breakdown cover, making motoring simple and worry-free.

How do I know if I am eligible for Motability?

You may be eligible for the Motability Scheme if you receive one of the following mobility allowances and have at least 12 months of remaining payments:

Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance (HRMC DLA)
Enhanced Rate Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (ERMC PIP)
War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)

Can I buy my Motability vehicle at the end of my lease?

Yes, in some cases, you may be able to purchase your Motability vehicle at the end of the lease. Contact us towards the end of your agreement to discuss your options.

Can family members drive my Motability car?

Yes, up to three named drivers can be added to your Motability lease, including family members, carers, or friends. The main driver does not have to be the Motability customer, but the car must be used for their benefit.
