All five occupants will appreciate the comfort of an ergonomically designed seat. The easily adjustable front seats make it easy to find the perfect seating position. Further enhancing the versatility of your Volvo, the rear seat is easy to fold individually into the load area floor so you can transport passengers and/or cargo without compromising either comfort or safety.

483 l load compartment space

With the rear seats up, the load compartment has enough space for four suitcases (ranging from 680-780mm long, 250-276mm wide and 525-565mm high) and one cabin bag (550mm long, 400mm wide, 230mm high).

Boost load compartment space to 1,410 l

Fold down the rear seats for optimal luggage capacity – and with a flat floor and no lip to lift items over, larger objects are easier to load and unload.

Power tailgate

Open or close the tailgate conveniently from the outside using the remote control. Or via buttons on the tailgate or the dashboard. Sensors around the tailgate opening help enhance safety when closing the tailgate. The power tailgate can also be programmed to open to a lower height than its maximum, very useful if you park in a garage with limited roof height. For extra convenience when loading, integrated illumination lights up the area under the tailgate. And making it easy to open the tailgate when your hands are full, you can add a comfortable hands-free opening and closing function – just move your foot under the rear bumper and the tailgate opens and closes at your convenience.

When does the Digital services subscription start and how long does it last?

A subscription lasts up to four years. If the car is new, this period starts on the retail delivery date. The subscription is linked to the car, so in the event of the car being sold, any remaining subscription time is passed on to the next owner/user.​

Is all data required to run the Digital services package included?

Yes. All data is included for up to four years. This includes both for navigation and voice assistant, as well as downloading and running any type of apps (e.g. music streaming). After this period, the service can be extended as a subscription.

Built-in Google apps and services make your Volvo as intuitive to use as your smartphone. The voice-activated Google Assistant listens to you and performs your commands while you can stay focused on driving. Call or text friends, set destinations, change cabin temperature, select music, ask about any online information or even control connected home devices. Google Maps is fully integrated and helps you reach your destination faster with real-time traffic info, automatic rerouting and voice control. With the Google Play store, you can easily download your favourite apps. Conveniently listen to your favourite music, podcasts, or audiobooks while you drive. This new-generation infotainment system also adapts to how you behave and offers unprecedented personalization for a seamless driving experience. Your car is fully connected to your digital life – even without your phone. The car includes 4 years of access to the following Google Services: Google Assistant, Google Maps and Google Play Store. After that period a prolongment or renewal will be offered, and a subscription fee will in such case be added.

Apple Car Play

Apple Car Play makes it possible to integrate an iPhone® with your Volvo. It gives you convenient in-car access to your favourite iPhone apps to navigate, make calls, receive messages and enjoy music while you drive. The voice control via Siri is specially adapted for driving. You can also control Apple Car Play conveniently from the centre display. The iPhone is connected to a USB socket in the centre console which also charges the battery. Volvo app remote features

This app connects you with your Volvo, enabling convenient remote control of several car functions. By simply using your mobile device or a digital assistant, you can remotely pre-climatize your parked car, check car status, see its location, control charging, lock or unlock the doors and much more. You can also easily keep track of business trips and store them as driving journals. The car includes 4 years access to the Volvo Car App remote functions. After that period a prolongment or renewal will be offered, a subscription fee will in such case be added.​

Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB+)

The digital radio allows you to listen to Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB+) – the standard for digital radio in Europe. In countries with DAB+ broadcasts, you'll have access to more radio channels, improved radio reception and high-quality sound.​

Wireless phone charging

Keep your smartphone within easy reach and fast charge it at the same time. No wires needed – just put your smartphone in the storage space in front of the cupholders and inductive charging ensures the battery is charged. Bluetooth® connection

The Bluetooth® connection allows you to wirelessly connect your smartphone with your Volvo. Make or answer calls with both hands on the steering wheel, and enjoy audio streaming via the car's audio system. Steering wheel remote control

Avoid collisions

Day or night, our intelligent safety assistance technology can help you detect and avoid other vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists and large animals. It does this by first warning the driver then autobraking if the driver fails to react.**

Ease stress in busy traffic

Blind spot information system (BLIS) provides active support when changing lanes. If there is a risk of collision with other vehicles in the adjacent lane, BLIS can subtly adjust steering, helping keep you, your car and your loved ones right where you mean to be.

Detects and corrects drifting

If you start drifting across the centre line, there is always a chance of a collision with an oncoming vehicle. Your car can detect this and correct the steering, helping you back to a safer position on the road.***​

With four cameras providing a 360° view and flank sensors increasing awareness of objects at the side of the car, our system can help you park confidently even in confined spaces.

Brake intervention is only active at lower speeds. ** Vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists moving in the same direction of the car can be detected under certain speeds and in certain conditions.
