Riverside Volvo Wakefield is one of the leading Volvo dealerships in the country with stunning facilities incorporating the latest Volvo retail experience. After a sustained period of growth, we are looking to grow our sales team and we’re currently recruiting Sales Executives.

We are entering a new phase in the motor industry with the move to more electric vehicles gathering pace and the advent of direct-to-consumer sales. Volvo are leading the way in both categories, and we are looking for individuals to join us in these exciting times.

You could be in car sales already and can demonstrate your success, or you could come from a customer facing service background outside of the motor industry, either way your ability to give that premium service is paramount. You will need to embrace electric technology alongside our conventional engines and this role is much about confidently demonstrating our product as well as understanding the customers needs. Product knowledge will also be essential, and you can rest assured there will be a comprehensive training package covering all aspects, learning, and developing through the Volvo training programme. Sometimes we do arrange an assessment event, so you can experience the Volvo retail experience yourself. We will explain everything about Riverside and assess your skills. We will let you know in advance if we are organising an event for this role.

The Role – What you’ll be doing

As a Sales Executive at Riverside every day is different, but the key fundamental duties are:

  • Achieve monthly sales targets
  • Cross selling Company services and products
  • Ensure documentation is accurate and processed in a timely manner
  • Creating rapport with new and existing customers
  • Representing the Brand

You’ll do this by:

  • Being inquisitive
  • Taking pride in achieving milestones
  • Upholding high standards
  • Having the desire to deliver
  • Practicing resilience

You’ll need:

  • A full driving licence
  • A Professional appearance and approach
