If the sensors detect wheel slip when starting on slick surfaces, such as a snow-covered road, the Traction Control function automatically brakes the slipping wheel and governs engine output to enable a smoother start.
BRAKE OVERRIDE SYSTEM
In the event of the brake and accelerator pedals being pressed at the same time, the engine ECU prevents unintended acceleration by giving priority to the braking operation.
AWD 4WD SYSTEM - The ASX ZE-H features Mitsubishi’s on-demand AWC 4WD system meaning better grip on slippery road surfaces and over tough terrain or greater stability when towing.
ESS (EMERGENCY STOP SIGNAL SYSTEM)
